Michael T. Varallo, D.M.D. Dr. Michael T. Varallo, a 1980 graduate of the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry, proudly follows in a strong family tradition. His father, Dr. D. Vincent Varallo, was one of the premier oral surgeons in New Jersey. He is a member of the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics, an Academy of General Dentistry trained speaker and associate fellow of the World Clinical Laser Association. He owns and operates the Nantucket Dental Society. Dr. Varallo is well known in this community for his family dental practice that serves both adults and children. The community atmosphere in the office makes Dr. Varallo's practice unique - his patients actually enjoy coming to the office! His patients appreciate the fact that he updates his skills regularly. They are confident that they are receiving the best possible dental care. A resident of Ridgewood, Dr. Varallo is happily married with two daughters and a son.

Joesph E. Mauriello, D.D.S. Long-time New Jersey resident, Dr. Joseph E. Mauriello moved to Bergen County in 1995. He joined the HoHoKus Dental Associates in June 1997. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he was also awarded with a Post Graduate Training Degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. While attending Columbia Dental, Dr. Mauriello completed multiple externships, such as an Oral Surgery externship at the Bronx VA and General Dentistry externship at the Manhattan VA. Also a two-year concentration in Endodontics was completed. After graduating from Columbia, a one-year, full-time general Practice Residency at the East Orange VA was attended. The education process is never over; therefore, yearly continuing education courses are met. Dr. Mauriello is a member of the following associations: Academy of General Dentistry Fauchard Dental Society American Dental Association Dr. Mauriello looks forward to serving the community with top quality dental care.

CeCe - Registered Dental Hygenist I work full-time at HoHoKus Dental Associates. I am licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, California and the Philippines. I have been practicing in the dental field for 24 years. She graduated with a degree in dentistry from the University of the East. I had practiced dentistry for 6 years before migrating to the states. I keep my license active through continuing education. I earned an associate’s degree in dental hygiene with honors from Bergen Community College. I am the youngest of nine siblings who have also migrated to the U.S. and all reside in different states such as, New Jersey, California, Louisiana, and Texas. Most of them are in the medical field. My goal is to apply my expertise by teaching and delivering optimum dental health care.

Sheryl - Certified Dental Assistant Hello my name is Sheryl. I have 28 years of dental experience as a Registered Dental Assistant with a radiography license with the same practice. I am married for 16 years to a great man who is a firefighter. I love the atmosphere here; we have a lot of fun! My goal is to make you as comfortable in our office as possible, so let me know how I can help you.

Eda - Certified Dental Assistant Hello, my name is Eda. For over 12 years, I have been in the dental field as a Certified Dental Assistant with a radiography license and CPR certification. I have been part of the HDA staff for about 7 years and enjoy working here, interacting with patients and learning something new everyday.

Gina - Registered Dental Assistant Hello my name is Gina. I have been a dental assistant for 18 years, 13 of which I have been working at Ho-Ho-Kus dental Associates. I also help Dr. Varallo with his new endeavors of lecturing about the field of dentistry. I have been married for 8 years and have 2 beautiful daughters. I have a profound love for helping people. Dental Assisting has provided me the flexibility to raise my two girls and never miss a special day in their lives.

Julia - Certified Dental Assistant Hi, my name is Julia. I am a full time assistant here at HoHoKus Dental. I am a certified dental assistant with a radiography license. Additionally, I am CPR certified by the American Heart Association. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. While in the chair, you can be sure you are receiving the highest quality of care and work. I pride myself in making your experience in our office a pleasant, comfortable and informative one.

Suzanne - Office Manager Hello my name is Suzanne. I have 27 years of experience in the Dental profession. I am the office manager here at HoHoKus Dental Associates. I am a second-generation Ridgewood resident with my three daughters who are also Ridgewood graduates. We had the privilege of living in Arizona from 1980-1984 and experienced the American Native culture. Dentistry has provided me with diverse people skills enhancing my ability to raise my daughters as a single parent.

Cynthia - Dental Receptionist Hello, my name is Cynthia. I am a part-time dental receptionist at Ho-Ho-Kus Dental Associates. I am a full-time student at Montclair State University with ambitions to attend medical school and become an Emergency Room physician. Since working here, I have developed a newfound respect and admiration for the field of dentistry.

Maria - Dental Receptionist Hello, my name is Maria. I am a dental receptionist at Ho-Ho-Kus Dental and have over eight years of experience in the dental field. I hold an Associates Degree in Business Administration and I have experience as an Endodontic Dental Assistant. I will be one of the first to greet you when you arrive for your appointment.

Cerelia - Registered Dental Hygienist I am a Registered Dental Hygienist with an associate’s degree in Applied Science. I have been serving the dental community for 17 years. My main goal as a professional is staying committed and passionate about treating the body as a whole through education and compassion.
