Preventative Dentistry

Preventive dentistry is the practice of caring for your teeth to keep them healthy. There are many forms of preventive dentistry, such as daily brushing and dental cleanings. To maintain optimal oral health, the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends visits to the dentist at regular intervals determined by a dentist.

Routine Dental Cleanings & Oral Exams

We’ll help you achieve and maintain excellent oral health with our new patient exam and hygiene treatment.

Did you know that your oral health has a direct correlation to your overall health? Plaque and tartar accumulation can lead to decay and gum disease when neglected. Regular checkups and cleanings can help you keep your mouth healthy for longer. We’re here to help you keep your natural smile and live a healthier life!

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride prevents cavities in children and adults. It is especially important for children 6 months to 16 years old to get enough fluoride to protect their teeth. Fluoride is a strong weapon in the fight against decay and can help your child be cavity-free for a lifetime.

Dental Crowns

Damaged or broken teeth can not only cause you to be shy about smiling but also affect your overall oral health. At Dream Smile Dental we offer a full spectrum of crowns, bridges, and other cosmetic dentistry to ensure a healthy beautiful smile.

Three-Unit Bridge

When a tooth is missing, a three-unit bridge can be a good choice for replacing it. In a three-unit bridge, an artificial tooth is connected on each end to crowns. The crowns are placed over the neighboring teeth to hold the bridge in place. A three-unit bridge can be made of gold, porcelain, or porcelain fused- to-meta

Dentures

Losing teeth can be a hard pill to swallow but it doesn’t mean you have to lose your smile. With full or partial dentures, you can take back both your smile and your life.

Sports Mouthguards

Guards are used to protect teeth. Athletic mouth guards are extremely important for athletes of all ages. In young patients with changing dentition simple ‘boil and bite’ mouth guards can be bought over the counter. For teenagers and adults, custom guards can be made at our office. To make a guard, impressions and a bite registration will be taken.

With proper care, your new veneers will greatly improve your appearance and increase your confidence for years to come.

Botox

Botox® is a form of Botulinum Toxin A manufactured by Allergan, which is purified from bacterial cultures and processed into an injectable protein. Periodontics (Gum Disease Treatment)

Maintaining a healthy mouth starts with the gums. We make sure to closely examine gums for signs of periodontal disease during every hygiene appointment.

Gum disease is usually caused by plaque, a sticky film of bacteria that constantly forms on teeth. Plaque is usually the main culprit behind gum disease. Improper oral hygiene routines can lead to gums becoming irritated and inflamed. This irritated tissue can open up pockets as it separates from teeth. Bacteria then move into these open spaces and can destroy tooth support structure. Come see us or give us a call to see how we can help you in your fight against gum disease.

Dental Implants

Badly damaged teeth can inhibit your ability to chew and speak comfortably and may lead to other teeth shifting into improper positions. Take back your smile and your life with safe and effective dental implants.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Wisdom teeth can cause infection, crowding, or decay in your mouth and are not integral to the structure of your mouth. A quick and painless extraction can fix these issues and restore the health and appearance of your teeth.

Root Canal Therapy

A root canal involves gently removing the nerve tissue of a tooth and sealing the canals with a special rubberlike material. After root canal therapy the tooth will not be able to feel temperature or pain but will maintain normal biting power and sensation.

Sleep Apnea

Aside from the impact on your oral health, sleep apnea has tremendous effects on your overall health. Since not enough oxygen is getting into the lungs, respiratory disease and cardiovascular disease can result. These diseases can lead to a stroke or heart attack. We can help comfortably treat your moderate sleep apnea by using a customized night guard.

Sleep Quiz

Sleep testing can be done in your own home and is simple, comfortable, and reliable. We will receive the results of your sleep test in a few days and if your results are mild or moderate obstructive sleep apnea, Oral Appliance therapy might work for you. The most severe patients are best helped with CPAP, however, non-compliant severe patients should consider a comfortable, effective Oral Appliance.
